Rookie Season: Jim started racing at the age of 16 in 2002. 2002 featured 17 starts and 15 top ten finishes with 1 top five finishes. Jim finished tenth in the points and was short Rookie of the Year at Orange Show Speedway.

Career Highlights: 2006 Orange Show Speedway, ASA Stock Pony Track Champion.

2002:   Tenth in championship points at Orange Show Speedway

            Willow Springs finished 2^nd   in single start.

2003:   Fifth in championship points at Orange Show Speedway

2004:   Blythe Turkey Nationals, trophy dash win and finished 2^nd. Irwindale Speedway 3 starts 1 top 5 finish.

2005:   Second in championship points, short 2 track points for the Championship at Orange Show Speedway. Capturing his first main event win on June 4^th, 2005 at Orange Show Speedway.

2006:   ASA Stock Pony Champion

Jim started off his rookie season with a bang .He hasn't looked back since.

Jim built and maintained his own race car since the beginning of his career. He continues to be the primary driver and the lead mechanic. Ever year Jim continues to make extreme improvement on the track, proving his phenomenal driving talent with continual wins. Jim captured 10 wins out of 13 starts in the 2006 and 11 top 2 finishes. Jim won 16 out of 21 main events since June 4, 2005. He has been the dominant figure in the Stock Pony class for the past 2 race seasons at Orange Show Speedway

Jim spent a year at Sacramento’s Campus of Wyo-Tech to improve his mechanical knowledge and earn his college degree.

The 2007 season will be as exciting with the acquisition of  a “ Lucas Oil Modified” and racing in the Modified Series as well as the Stock Pony series.

Jim has proven that he has what it takes to be a Champion. The only remaining question is how many more can he win?
